‘Tis the season to be fabulous ;). So, what are you wearing these holidays?… If you haven’t decided yet, here is some inspiration for you.
Let’s start with Christmas Day and Christmas Eve. Classic Christmas sweaters are back and yes, it all started with the “tacky sweater parties”. Some how the holiday sweater has evolved into a less tacky version. H&M has some awesome picks. Pair whichever sweater you choose with a fabulous skinny jean, wide leg/boyfriend cut/skinny slack, pencil skirt or mini skirt, add a fabulous pair of shoes and VOILA!
If you are not into the sweater trend, then stick to the classy holiday looks. Go for embellished glamorous looks like the one above, jewel tone colors such as emeralds, rubies and deep blues. Don’t be afraid to choose colors relevant to the holiday. Red, green and white are absolutely OK.
New Years Eve!!
Ever since I was young, my mom always got me into the habit that the new year must be received in my best threads (and preferably new threads haha). She made me believe that the new year was a new beginning and like the rest of the world, I absolutely believed that and still do. With that said, the best fashion advice I could give any lovely lady out there is to dress in the best outfit she can possibly find. The best according to what she would consider “best”. Forget trends or the idea of making sure you are “fashionable”. For example, I like being edgy without the overly sexy factor. I am often very conservative. However, if you follow my personal Instagram (Izz_b4), you are probably aware of how much I have gotten into Crossfit and fitness. I’ve been working really hard on toning up, so this New Year’s Eve I will be rocking my sexiest look yet. I want to welcome 2014 fierce, sexy, confident and fearless ;). What is sexier than a fitted black mini dress and six inch red heels? By now I think you get what I am saying. Welcome the new year dressed in the way you want to take on this new beginning. Try the bold sequin, leather and lace fabrics. Another little piece of advice; my mom (a superstitious lady) believed that wearing a little red would bring you good luck in the new year ;).
These Holidays we want to wish you a very warm and memorable time in YOUR best threads ;). Your style should always represent you and your traditions. Make it fierce but make it you. We hope you spend your festivities full of blessings, happiness and surrounded by all your loved ones.
